What is Tadarise?

Tadarise contains tadalafil as its active ingredient, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor helps men achieve and maintain a firm erection during intercourse if he is suffering from erectile dysfunction. It works to enhance the blood  flow in the specific parts of the body, particularly to the penis, in the response to sexual stimulation.

Tadarise tablet is primarily used to achieve a firm erection during intercourse in adult men who are unable to get or keep firm erection due to erectile dysfunction. Tadarise may also reduce the symptoms associated with other conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in which a patient faces difficulty urinating, and improve pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) symptoms by reducing the heart workload and widening blood vessels.

What are The Uses of Tadarise Tablets?

  • Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Tadarise is mainly prescribed to men who are experiencing difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection that is firm enough for having a sexual intercourse. This causes shame in the person and dissatisfaction in both partners. Tadarise helps the patient by inhibiting PDE5,  which increases the blood flow to the penis, enabling  the person to achieve a firm and lasting erection upon arousal by sexual stimulus.

  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

BPH is a condition in which a patient experiences frequent urination due to increased prostate glands that cause pressure on the urethra, resulting in a weak urine stream and difficulty starting urination. Tadarise helps the patient in reducing the BPH symptoms by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder, which eases urinary flow and decreases frequent urges to urinate.

  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)

In the patients suffering from PAH, the walls of the pulmonary arteries become stiff, thickened, or narrowed, which causes the heart to work harder to pump blood through the lungs. This extra workload can weaken the heart over time, leading to symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue, and even fainting.
Tadalafil in Tadarise can be used to treat PAH under medical guidance. It decreases the pressure in the pulmonary arteries, helping to ease symptoms and improve the patient’s quality of life.

  • Off-label use

Tadalafil, is sometimes used off-label for treating other medical conditions. Off-label use refers to prescribing medication for conditions not officially approved by the  authorities but supported by clinical studies.

  • Raynuad symptoms

Raynaud’s phenomenon is a condition where blood vessels in fingers and toes twitch, which restricts blood flow, causing pain, numbness, and discoloration in response to cold or stress.

  •  Altitude Sickness (Acute Mountain Sickness)

Altitude sickness occurs when a person goes to high altitudes, which can lead to symptoms such as headaches, nausea, fatigue, and shortness of breath due to low oxygen levels. Tadalafil helps in improving pulmonary and systematic circulation by improving the blood flow and reducing the effects of low oxygen levels in the body.

  • Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH)

CTEPH is a rare form of pulmonary hypertension that is caused by unresolved blood clotting in the lungs. Tadalafil helps by relaxing and widening pulmonary arteries, decreasing resistance and improving blood flow.

What are The Dosage Guidelines for Tadarise Tablets?

Dosage of tadarise can vary from one person to another depending on factors like age, health condition, and other health-related issues that can  impact the proper dose.

The general guidelines include:

  • Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Starting Dose: The recommended starting dose prescribed by a doctor is typically 10 mg, taken 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity.

Adjustable Dose: Based on the effectiveness and tolerance of the patient, the dose can be adjusted to either 20 mg or reduced to 5 mg.

Daily Use: For those who engage in frequent or regular sexual activity (twice a week or more), a daily dose of 2.5 mg or 5 mg may be suitable.

  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Standard Dosage: For a patient suffering from BPH,  a dose of 5 mg daily is generally prescribed, with adjustments based on individual response.

  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)

Standard Dosage: The usual dose for PAH is 40 mg once daily.

How to Take Tadarise Tablet

  • Direction of use: Swallow Tadarise with a glass of water; it can be taken with or without food, as food does not affect the drug’s absorption in the body

How does Tadarise Tablet Work?

Tadarise is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor mainly prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It works to increase penile blood flow by inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, which is found in the smooth muscle cells of the penis. When a man becomes sexually aroused, the body releases nitric acid, which starts the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This relaxes the smooth muscles in the penis, allowing the blood to flow into the erectile tissue, leading to an erection.

It inhibits PDE5, helps in increasing the levels of cGMP in the penis, and increases smoother muscle relaxation and better blood flow. As a result, Tadarise enhances the natural flow of achieving and maintaining a firm erection.

The effect of Tadarise can last up to 36 hours; that’s why it is called “weekend pill.” It does not work without sexual arousal, as it is not an aphrodisiac medication, but it helps in enhancing the body’s natural erectile response when combined with sexual stimulation.

  • Caution in Cardiovascular Disease

Tadarise should be used with caution by patients with cardiovascular conditions, such as recent heart attacks, strokes, or arrhythmias. It can put extra pressure on the heart due to the increased blood flow to the penis.

  • Avoid alcohol consumption

It is  essential to avoid alcohol consumption while taking tadarise, as it can increase the risk of side effects like dizziness or low blood pressure

When Not to Take Tadarise Tablet?

You should avoid using Tadarise if:

  • If you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients of the tablet. Signs of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, or swelling, which can be serious.
  • If you are using nitrates such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate, or any other nitrate-based medications. This combination can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, leading to fainting, heart attack, or stroke.
  • If you experienced a recent heart attack or stroke or are suffering from severe heart or liver conditions. Tadarise can put additional strain on the heart and liver.
